New DP Touch Welders with Built-in Monitoring

 

Sunstone Engineering's DP Touch Welders combine high-tech, high-touch welding solutions with built-in advanced weld monitoring capabilities. The DP Touch's 9 inch color touch screen interface provides access to every weld parameter and monitoring feedback option. Now users can weld and monitor processes with one space saving device perfect for any ISO, GMP and TQM requirement.

Customizable weld parameters include independent single/dual pulse operation, energy stored and energy released options, finely adjustable pulse widths including an adjustable rest/delay time between pulses, on-screen lock features, 128 savable schedules with flexible chaining capabilities, two weld head driver outputs, and full control over squeeze and hold times. An Ethernet and USB port on the back of the welder allow every aspect of the welder and monitor to be controlled remotely, and feedback monitoring data is automatically copied and downloaded to any Windows® based computer.

The DP Touch offers advanced monitoring capabilities including voltage and peak current measurements, sampling rates of 130,000samples/second, on-screen waveform displays with 800 data points displayed on screen (up to 3,000 data points displayed when copied to external computer), graphical weld limits displayed on screen with trend plotting, and a built-in weld coaching system to help analyze and improve welding parameters and processes.
